      3.  Opportunity to Join LCM Council– Call for Members at Large

      4.  Shoebox Ministry -Mona Cann will be organizing a group to go to Calgary to help fill shoeboxes. Saturday, December 2nd from 9 am to 1 pm and Friday, December 8th from 2 to 6 pm. Sign up sheets will be in the Narthex.

      5.  Advent Family Choir - Alison Crabb is organizing our choir for the season of Advent and Christmas. We will begin practicing at the end of November.  All ages and experience levels are invited to sing.

      7.  ELCIC Emergency Appeal for our partners in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land (ELCJHL).  The ELCJHL are our sibblings in Christ.  We have a long and important partnership with them and they need our support at this desperate time.

      The ELCIC invites members to support the ELCJHL Emergency Appeall through prayers and financial support with a goal of covering one months expences totallying $263,000.

      You are invited to help support our partners through a financial contribution to the ELCJHL appeal. 

      Financial donations may be given in two ways:

      1. Through your local congregation by designating your offering to ELCJHL Appeal.
      2. Donate HERE online through the ELCIC National Office at secure.elcic.ca.
