3.Camper Support available through the LCM Generosity Committee

If you, or someone you know, is interested in attending a Lutheran camp in Alberta this summer, we'd love to help you with the cost of the camp registration. 4. Property Management: Various Ways to Help at LCM

• Flower Beds Summer Upkeep - needing volunteers to help over the summer with the flower beds

6.  The 11th Annual Kuriakos Gathers Together fund- and fun-raiser is almost a wrap—and what an incredible event it was!

163 of you braved wind and snow to gather at the NexSource Centre in Sylvan Lake on Saturday night. Together, you enjoyed great food, meaningful connection, exciting auction bidding, and heard updates about what’s happening at Kuriakos.

Even those who couldn’t attend in person joined the fun online!

Mysterium Service of Healing Dec 21 – On the longest night of the year we are going to pause from the bustle and sit in candlelight for a contemplative time of prayers for healing. Any and all are welcome to join, especially those for whom the Christmas bustle is exhausting. This simple service has room for a number of people to participate. Please sign up if you are willing to read or carry an element (cross, candle, bread, etc) into the sanctuary during the service.

Singfest 2025 is the must-see holiday event of the year! Join us for beautiful Christmas music presented by the Airdrie Community Choir and friends. This is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit! All proceeds will be donated to the Airdrie 1st Hamper Program. Doors open 5:30 p.m. Concert is at 6:00 p.m.

Help us make one family’s Christmas a little special this year! Once again, this Christmas, we are adopting a family through the Airdrie 1st Club. This year our family is a single Mom, one boy and one girl. The children are 8 years old. The Mom has no gift requests. The girl likes dolls and craft related items. 2. LCM First Annual Christmas Craft Fair - Saturday Nov. 22 10 am – 4 pm

Calling all bakers! For LCM’s bake table, a donation of a baked item would be appreciated. Please bring your baked item to the church preferably before 6 pm Friday, Nov. 21 however we will still accept items by 9 am on Saturday. Please indicate what the baking is, and if it is Gluten Free, Dairy Free and/or has nuts. Items will be wrapped and priced by volunteers on the Friday. There are still spots needed to man the bake table from 12-2 or 2-4 on Saturday. Contact Karen Keating at 403-629-0121 if you can help. All proceeds will go to help send kids to Camp Kuriakos.

3. Kuriakos Fall Confirmation Camp - Camp Kuriakos is having a confirmation camp the weekend of Nov 21-23. Council will provide the registration funds. Talk to Pastor Tim if interested in attending.

We are looking for vendors to participate and will cap it at 15. Cost is $20 a table, LCM members only pay $10. Shared tables will be allowed at a cost of $25 non-members and $15 for members.

Sign Workshop

Would you like to learn how to make farmhouse style signs?  Now is your chance as there will be a two-day workshop on Saturday October 4th and 18th.  These dates are subject to change as i am flexible to meet in afternoon or evening.  This workshop's theme will be Christmas signs but is not limited to just that.  Everything will be supplied.

These are some examples provided but you are not limited to these.  Check out etsy.ca for farmhouse decal examples, or check out my FB website at CREATIVE SIGNS.  I would prefer to know your choice prior that way everything will be ready.

LCM secured space at Camp Kuriakos the long weekend in September. If you haven’t done so already, please see Lee Smith if your family is able to attend.

1. Ladies Breakfast – new venue

The Ladies monthly breakfast is gathering now at Pauls Pizza Restaurant, 1900 Market Street Airdrie, AB (where the old Toad and Turtle used to be). Join the ladies for connection and fellowship. All are welcome!

The Airdrie Pregnancy Center is running their spring ‘bottle’ drive. Take a baby bottle, fill it with change and return it to the church for Father’s day. Your donations support women, men and families prepare for the birth of a child through the early months.
