- September is Alberta Culture Days. It's celebrated September 1 to 30th. It an opportunity to discover, experience and celebrate arts and culture through Airdrie events and activities.
2. Sept. 9th - AirdrieFEST 11:00-4:00pm. A huge festival with over 150 Artisan vendors.
3. Sept. 10th - Against All Abuse Annual BBQ in support of Aitdrie Power. Held at Airdrie Superstore 11:00-2:00.
4. Sept. 13th - Airdrie Farmers Maket
5. Sept 15th - Ilumina La Noche Airdrie Heath Foundation Gala Sat. 5:30-11:30pm, at Town and Country Centre
6. Sept 16th - Top Dog Festival
7. Here are a few other events in September also.- This family event features local musicians, artists, children’s activities, a silent auction, a free soup lunch and handmade pottery bowls for purchase. All proceeds raised during the event directly support the Airdrie Food Bank, providing emergency food support to individuals and families in our community. Hosted by the Airdrie Food Bank.
- National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
- Each year, September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day honours the children who never returned home and survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconcilation process. Circle Connections for Reconcilation leads the event at Nose Creek
